Overview

What is Adbin?

AdBin : An easy to use Windows hosts file editor to help block ads

In depth

A closer look at Adbin

AdBin is a compact program that allows you to edit the content of the windows hosts file in order to block unwanted Internet content. The main objective of this software is to give you better control so you can surf the Internet faster, safely, securely and with privacy. A proper HOSTS file blocks unwanted content such as ads. It can also block other applications, such as spyware, from connecting to the Internet. As long as the spyware's server is in the HOSTS file, no application can communicate back to its server. Thus, you can use a HOSTS file to block ads, banners, cookies, web bugs, and even most hijack attempts. This also prevents listed servers from tracking your movements, even most major parasites, hijackers and unwanted Search Engines!
