In depth
A closer look at SurfTabs
The main gateway to the information superhighway is still the web browser. While some managed to build quite a reputation over the years, resource consumption seems to be a common issue, and an abundance of features you might not even use. For a clean browsing experience, SurfTabs comes with a simple design, and tab support. Showing up in a minimalistic interface, the application poses no accommodation problems whatsoever if you ever used a web browser. It’s based on the Internet Explorer engine, but this doesn’t prevent it from showing content without compatibility issues, although there’s a slight chance not all pages properly load. As the name suggests, one of the core features is tab support, providing the flexibility you need to navigate on multiple pages at a time. These are easily created and closed, either through hotkey commands or dedicated menu controls. Needless to say that landing on a page is done by writing down the address in the URL input field.
