In depth
A closer look at Internet Angel
Internet Angel provides an "Assistant" or wizard mode that helps you set up the parameters of a download job. You select a URL, a batch list of URLs, or a "Predetermined Task File" (a previously defined job). The program lets you select specific start and end times, and how often to repeat. You choose the types of files to download (CGI generated files, executable programs, Java Applets, movies, archives, pictures, sounds, and text files). It can be set to modify HTML documents for local browsing or keep them in their original form, and also allows you to enter a set of filters to specify locations on or off the site that should not be downloaded. The program includes an HTML preview, and an e-mail address extractor.
