is a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) client with a well-designed user interface.
You can choose between a Windows Explorer interface and a "classic" interface.
The Explorer interface integrates FTP into your desktop, making it very intuitive to access remote sites and work with remote files.
The classic interface displays two panes, one showing a local system view that displays all drives, directories and files, the other pane displays the directories and files on the remote system. You can select files and click buttons to perform actions such as sort, copy, delete, rename, view, refresh, create directory, change directory, and more.
Logon directories, usernames, passwords and other preferences for FTP sites you visit can be saved so that subsequent visits are fast and simple. The program can also be operated using command-line arguments. Other features include: a utility for searching FTP sites, a scripting utility for automating file transfers, file queueing, file transfer scheduling, firewall support, browser integration, and a synchronize utility for mirroring FTP or Web sites.
This "Pro" version of WS_FTP has all of the features of the "LE" (Limited Edition) version, plus the ability to drag and drop between windows; enable auto reget of failed transfers; the option to preserve file time on remote transfers; the option to prompt before overwriting identical or newer files; and the option to not transfer older or identical files during directory transfers.
