WinBiff can play a distinct sound when mail arrives from a specific sender or with specific words in the subject. WinBiff can even automatically connect to the Internet, check for mail, and disconnect.

Other features include: an optional repeating alarm, customizable colors, and special support for IMAP4 post office boxes and MS Mail, Windows Messaging, Lotus CC:Mail, Lotus Notes, Lotus GroupWise, and Waffle e-mail clients.
