provides web-based directory management for Microsoft Exchange Server.
WebDIR uses ADSI via LDAP to access and update objects in a Microsoft Exchange directory. At least one Exchange 5.5 server in the site is required to implement WebDIR.
WebDIR allows users to update their own information in the Global Address List (GAL), without requiring special permissions in Microsoft Exchange, all from their Web browser. Users can also update their own mailbox properties via Web page, update distribution lists that they own, and change their Windows NT password.
WebDIR allows administrators to edit custom recipients, mailboxes, distribution lists, and public folders. Administrators can also reset passwords, and decide which fields users may update.
WebDIR runs on
Windows NT/2000/Windows 10/11
and is available under the
30-day Trial
license
— the installer is 11 MB.
We’ve catalogued it under
Microsoft Exchange Tools.
