A closer look at Digital Postman

The program simplifies the process of sending documents as e-mail attachments. Start Digital Postman, put a document on your scanner's glass, and press the "Scan and Send" button. Digital Postman scans the document, opens a new e-mail message in your e-mail program, and attaches the scanned image to the message in the form of an executable program.

Select a recipient from your address book, fill in the subject line and send the message. Digital Postman even supports the use of Automatic Document Feeders (ADF), so sending a multi-page document is just as easy.

The e-mail attachment contains a small viewer along with the scanned image itself. Your recipient can "open" or "start" the executable to view, print, or copy the original image to the Clipboard for use in other programs.
