Finding the songs you want to hear can become increasingly difficult as your music collection grows. One way to decrease the number of CDs is to store music in MP3 format on CD-Rs, but the volume can remain difficult to manage without help.

Mp3db is an Access97 database that generates an easily searchable, flexible index of all your songs. It automatically identifies the song name, artist, album, directory and size, and adds it to the database. It also helps you generate covers for your CDs, list the contents of each CD/hard drive, and much more.

You can create and print customized reports of your MP3 collection. You can query the database a variety of ways to sort and present your information. For example, you can list duplicate songs, all of your full albums, the number of songs you have of each artist, and more. Mp3db can even help you keep track of CDs you have loaned to friends.
