This program is designed to allow you to create music very quickly through keyboard commands (or using the mouse), much like a word processor. It allows you to open several songs at a time, and even allows you to cut, copy and paste between them. Also, within a single song you can open up multiple sub-windows (called views), each in a different track and/or instrument.
Other features include saving and retrieving in MIDI file format, chord creation, keeping notes within a selected key, transpose, quantize, and the ability to ignore the complexities of tracks and channels.
This program plays out your computer's sound card, or plays to or records from any external MIDI instrument.
