lets you create personal styles for your KORG i-series keyboard or module.
The program converts small loopable MIDI files (patterns) for each of your variation buttons (Intro1-2, Var1-4, Fill1-2, Ending1-2) into KORG i-3 "style" files (STY). Most i-series units can read these files directly from floppy disk, but some may need conversion. The program can also modify existing KORG i3 styles, and is particularly useful if your instrument model does not have a built-in style editor.
GNIStyle includes editors for style title, style program and mix, and chord variation tables. It provides tools for mapping channels, substituting notes, modifying tempos, and more. You can have up to 4 styles per file, 10 keyboard buttons, 36 variants per style, and 6 instruments (Drum, Percussion, Bass, Acc1, Acc2, Acc3) per style variant.
GNIStyle supports direct testing of MIDI tracks on your keyboard (if properly connected to your PC via MIDI cable). The program also offers tips on how to create styles from a MIDI song or from scratch. It comes with both English and German language versions.
