Overview
is a music notation program.
In depth
Finale Allegro provides you with an unlimited number of staves. You can open an unlimited number of scores, and keep them open, all at the same time. You can move any part of your score to another part, or to a different score. View a whole page of music while you're working on one magnified measure. You can create page sizes from 9' x 9' all the way down to the size of a postage stamp.
Choose from seven different ways to enter your music. And Finale offers you HyperScribe, the patented real-time note-entry method. Simply play your music the way you want to, and HyperScribe notates it just as fast as your computer will allow. HyperScribe also lets you notate your music while you listen to previously recorded tracks. So you can hear your music develop while you're playing and composing.
And Finale lets you create and print professional-looking charts, lead sheets, and any other form of music notation.
This "Allegro" version leaves out the detailed engraving options found in Allegro's "parent", Finale.
