The graphics generated by 3D MIDI are derived directly from the musical information embedded within the MIDI data stream, giving the musician the ability to customize the visualization of the music being performed interactively and in real-time.

The program's features include: support for OpenGL-compatible 3D accelerators and SMF 1.0 and 2.0 MIDI files; real-time 3D graphics with synchronized MIDI music capability; and the ability to customize the real-time configuration of the 3D environment and any multiple 3D engines.

You can load and save 3DM graphical setting files; use the precalculation mode, where complex graphic scenes are precalculated, stored, and later displayed
