The program includes a Note Tutor to teach you how to read music and identify the corresponding keys on the piano keyboard. When you play any key on the keyboard you get instant sound and graphical feedback on chord structure, chord inversions, and other musical notations. The Chord Encyclopedia includes over 450 chords and lets you choose any chord in any inversion and see and hear it played on the keyboard. The program also includes Key Signatures which shows the many keys that music is written in, Name that Note which helps you recognize notes by sound and train your ear, and a Keyboard Teacher which explains the basics of the piano keyboard.
Sound is played through your sound card or PC speaker, or you can connect your MIDI keyboard if you would like to learn right in front of your computer.
