lets you manage and play MIDI, WAV, AVI, and RMI files, as well as audio CDs.
MIDI Genie uses a CD player style interface with buttons for play, pause, stop, next, previous, forward, and reverse. You can create play lists that sequentially play multiple files. Click buttons or drag-and-drop to add or insert files from the file box to the play list. You can rearrange and sort the order of files in the play list with either the mouse click or drag-and-drop, and can easily delete or rename files. You can even search all drives for supported files and add them to playlist. Your play list can be saved as a Media Play List File (.mpl) to play your collection of files like albums.
MIDI Genie also features four playing modes (auto, repeat, loop and random), two time counter display modes (elapsed time and remaining time), flexible display (show components fully or partly, and stay-on-top option), the ability to save your options to store your preferred playing modes and display, the ability to auto load your favorite list, the ability to play files from ZIP archives (in order to save disk space) and more.
