is a versatile program for creating WAV and MP3 files from music CDs.
The program provides a good, functional user interface for "ripping" CD audio tracks to WAV files and encoding them to MP3 format (using "BladeEnc"). It also lets you edit ID3 tags, download CD information via CDDB (the online music database), and more.
The Ripper can even help you transcribe music by playing CDs at half speed. This "time stretch" feature works in real-time, without recording or storing the tracks first.
This program was previously known as The Ripper.
