In depth
The effects have first-rate graphic user interfaces. They recognize whether they are processing a mono or a stereo signal, and adjust accordingly for simplicity and clarity of control. Stereo signals get independent left and right channel parameters. Control elements are set via the mouse. Mouse wheels (i.e., Microsoft IntelliMouse) are supported, and finer settings are obtainable by keyboard.
A special feature of all the effects is the "Quick Presets/Compare" panel, which lets you choose four frequently used presets and switch among them for quick comparisons. You can use the built-in presets or create your own.
All the effects work with 16- and 32-bit, mono and stereo signals. They use 64-bit processing internally. For added depth, the plug-ins can convert mono signals to stereo before processing. To minimize hardware requirements, the effect algorithms are highly optimized.
