displays lyrics for songs as they play in <A HREF=/Home_Family_and_Leisure/Music/Audio_Players/Review_12869_index.html>WinAMP</A>.
If available, SayWhat scrolls the lyrics of Winamp's currently playing song (normally an MP3 file or CD track). Lyrics are stored as standard text files with the same name as the audio file and an extension of TXT or LRC. You can easily create lyrics files using a standard editor. Several hundred are available for download from the author's Web site.
The program's interface features several display modes, including "floating normal," "floating compact" (without title bar), "docked on top" or "docked on bottom." You can also choose from a variety of window options ("always on top," or "auto-hide"), lyric display styles ("right to left," "bottom up," "bottom up without scroll," or "two column"), and preferences (colors and file paths).
SayWhat can even start and close automatically as a Winamp plug-in.
