is an entertainment center designed to play and mix MP3 files, CDs, videos, Internet radio, and more.
The program can digitally extract music from your CD collection and encode it to MP3 format. It keeps track of all your MP3 files, organizing them by genre, artist, beat, and more. Song information (track name, artist and CD title) is automatically downloaded from an online database. The built-in search tool can use this information to help you quickly locate files in your collection.
You can play/mix two MP3 files at once, mix between a CD track and a digital file, or create play lists that automatically cross-fade between tracks. PCDJ PHAT lets you set multiple, precise "cue points" per track. The program also features MIDI support, and lets you listen to Shoutcast, Internet Radio and Icecast (MP3 and ASF) streams.
Other features include CD ripping, audio encoding, and support for the Internet CD Database (CDDB).
