The program's functional interface lets you and your guests select MP3 files to play from your computer. It uses the popular M3U playlist format, and allows on-the-fly reordering without interruption to the currently playing song. PartyPlay also features song search and ID3 editing tools.

Password protection enables you to restrict your guests from changing the program's options during a party. You can disallow song deletion from the queue, and more. To avoid drink spillage on your keyboard, the program is fully accessible via mouse.
