Overview

What is Dr.TAG?

is a versatile ID3 tagger for your MP3 library.

In depth

A closer look at Dr.TAG

You simply select a folder to display a list of all the MP3 files in the directory and its subdirectories. The list contains file details and ID3 information, enabling you to choose as many files as you wish and perform an action from a palette of available MP3 and ID3 transformations on all selected files simultaneously.

You can edit the artist, album, year, and comment fields for all MP3s at the same time; create ID3 tags from file names; rename your MP3s using ID3 tags according to easily-customizable templates; copy data from any field to any other field; and swap any two fields.

Dr.TAG also lets you extract a specific string from certain file names using a variety of delimiters and store it within a selected field; create songlists in M3U format; set the genre for all files; capitalize file name and ID3 fields using various schemes; and remove ID3 tags. ID3 v2 tags are supported.
