is a recording tool that can capture any sound that your sound card can play.
Total Recorder installs a virtual sound drive that captures sound generated by other computer programs and saves it in WAV file format. It can be used to record sounds from any source, such as audio files from the Internet or music from your favorite game. It also records from CD, microphone, or other input lines.
You can normalize the volume of a recording, and resample the sound during the recoring process or when you save a recording.
A VCR-style scheduler is included which lets you record or play back sounds at a given time. Optional command-line parameters allow you to use an external scheduler such as Microsoft Task Scheduler.
