Probability Calculator : With support for 40 different probability distributions, this application enables you to calculate, plot and manipulate the probability density function
Note: Probability Calculator is no longer supported, so it is now impossible to purchase the application. Nonetheless, you can still download it and use it with the limitations listed on this page. The Internet is filled with all sort of applications and programs that can make your job easier. One of them is Probability Calculator. It allows you to calculate, plot and manipulate the probability of many events from happening. It sports a clean and lightweight graphical interface with many nice tools at hand.
Sleek and clean graphical interface
The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can actually use it. It sports a really intuitive graphical interface with lots of nice tools and features at hand.Probability Calculator can help you calculate, plot and manipulate the probability of various events from happening. It comes with lots of nice functions like point percent (ppf), survival (s), hazard (h) or cumulative hazard (H).

Probability Calculator is a quick, simple and effective tool which can be used by students, scientists, teachers or professional analysts alike. Distribution first four moment estimates are calculated, including mean, variance, skewness, kurtosis, coefficient of variation and standard deviation. For each distribution, a point percent function (ppf) for arbitrary probability (p) can also be calculated. In order to work with lots you will need to define lower and upper bound used in calculation and the number of variables (points) at which functions are evaluated.
More features and tools
Alternatively, the lower and upper bounds can also be calculated automatically. Depending if distribution is discrete or continuous, main chart can display on of the available distribution functions. For continuous distribution, this includes pdf, cdf, survival, hazard or cumulative hazard function. For discrete, only pdf, cdf and survival function are supported. The results are displayed in graphical (plot of specific distribution function) and textual (calculation at specific variate x and calculating for range of variables x).These results can be exported to several formats. All in all, Probability Calculator is a very nice application that you could use in order to calculate probabilities.
