What is Streamsurfer?
allows you to access MP3.com's tunes without a browser.
In depth
A closer look at Streamsurfer
If you love hearing great new music with a minimum of hassle, you need Streamsurfer. This novel program is an attractive front-end to MP3.com's Top 150 song charts (of which there are hundreds). Instead of wading through page after page to find the exact type of music you want to listen to, Streamsurfer takes you to the tunes directly; you don't even have to open up a Web browser. It then fires up your default streaming MP3 player (Winamp, in our case) and begins streaming all the songs in that genre or sub genre. Streamsurfer can't hone in on a specific song or artist, but instead acts more like a radio station by letting you enjoy your desired type of music, one song right after another.
