allows financial investors to maintain one or more investment security portfolios.
PortfolioKeeper downloads price and dividend information via the internet into its portfolio security database.
You can track options trading, short selling, and stocks and bonds. Splits and option expirations are automated. An estimated income schedule lets you track interest and dividend. Shares may be sold by selecting FIFO, LIFO, or designated lots. Purchase amounts may be specified by price per share or total cost.
Cash is maintained as a separate account to make sure all transactions are properly recorded. The cash position of each portfolio is automatically maintained, so no manual entries are needed.
Several reports are available to manage multiple portfolios such as: appraisals, detail by purchased lot (which is necessary for tax purposes), dividends and interest due, security listing, cash transactions, and others. PortfolioKeeper allows reporting by date range (for example, the current year's transactions).
