is a Microsoft Excel template for valuing options and predicting their future price changes.
The program helps you quickly and easily calculate and understand theoretical option values, implied volatility, and market sensitivities.
OptionBook uses the industry standard Black-Scholes option pricing formula to calculate theoretical option values. The underlying market price, underlying market volatility, option strike price, option expiration date, interest rate, and dividend rate or foreign interest rate determine how much an option is worth and serve as the formula's inputs, whereas the call option price, call option sensivities, put option price, and put option sensivities produce option prices and associated sensivities and become the formula's outputs.
OptionBook is designed so that you can set these inputs and quickly see the outputs. Then, change any input and watch the option prices change instantly.
