It can be used to create new fonts from scratch or edit existing fonts. Softy supports TrueType fonts (TTF), bitmap fonts (FON, FNT), laser fonts (PCL) and HP soft fonts (SFP and SFL). Font hinting information is not added when you create new fonts or edit the glyphs of existing fonts.
