is similar to the Windows Character Map utility, but it shows larger sample characters, displays a line of sample text, and more.
ExtendedCharacterMap is ideal for viewing the character set of any font, but is especially useful for examining the pictures in a symbol or Dingbat font. It allows you to view characters with various formatting options applied, such as bold, italic, underline and strikeout. You can also view a line of sample text in the selected font. The keystroke name for each character is displayed at the bottom right corner of the screen, along with decimal, hexadecimal, octadecimal and binary equivalents.
Any character or series of characters can be quickly copied to the Clipboard.
