Overview
is a real-time strategy game based on actual events that took place in the 16th century.
In depth
It is into this scenario that you are thrown in War Diary. As a Korean General, you must crush this invading army in a series of campaigns that will challenge your mind and make your heart beat that little bit faster.
You can build and manage complex bases, with everything from Ironworks to Temples, from which to launch your assault. Use your peasants to harvest the crops, fell the trees, smelt the iron. Sell your resources to raise more money for your army. Buy the resources that you need. Equip your army (archers, footmen, knights, artillery battalions) with a whole host of weapons including six different kinds of swords, bows, crossbows, and a range of powerful cannons and ballistas. Priests with magical powers such as healing and shooting balls of flame are also on hand to aid your troops. Launch daring night raids, where your enemy's and your own vision is much reduced. Use your shipyards to build troop transports and battleships to take your fight on to the sea.
