While playing, you will be immersed in huge, realistic outdoor 3D environments. Your tasks will revolve around several mission options, including reprisal attacks, seize and destroy missions, hostage rescue, counter-terrorist attacks, and raid and destroy missions. Each environment is unique, not only in look and feel, but in game play as well.
The emphasis of the game is on action and realistic combat. The game's development team consulted with Special Forces Military Advisors on the design of the missions, observed Ranger and Light Infantry Unit "live fires" to get the feel of actual combat and teamwork, and used motion capture technology to provide authentic human motions.
NOTE: The file you download here is only 87k. It uses an Internet delivery and fulfillment service (Gigex) that provides guaranteed delivery. Simply run the EXE after you download it and it will begin delivering the Spec Ops demo.
