chronicles a new chapter in the Star Wars saga in which the emergence of a criminal underground threatens to upset the balance of power in the galaxy.
The storyline follows the adventures of a new character, Dash Rendar, a tough, roguish mercenary and friend of Han Solo. Rendar’s mission is to protect Luke Skywalker from the clutches of a new evil force in the universe, Dark Prince Xizor. Xizor, leader of the feared underground criminal organization Black Sun, is determined to assassinate Skywalker so Darth Vader falls from Emperor Palpatine’s grace, enabling Xizor to replace Vader as the right hand of the evil Emperor.
When you arrive at Hoth, Imperial Star Destroyers have entered orbit and are deploying land assault craft. The Alliance has put out a call for all able-bodied pilots. You pilot a snowspeeder against some of the Empire's heaviest land assault hardware. Your mission is to slow down the Probe Droids, AT-ATs, and AT-STs to provide the Alliance enough time to evacuate. Take out as many as you can. Be advised, the Imperial assault formation will increase as they have more time to land vehicles.
