is an adventure game in which you must escape from the inner workings of a teleporting supercomputer.
Abel is a smart, young man who excels in all his work at college. His final in physics is to produce a laser that will scan an object and teleport it to another location. The laser does so by scanning line by line of the object, breaking it down inside a super computer and shrinking it so it can travel thru phone lines, then recompiles the information and rebuilds the object. So far, Abel has had success in scanning the object and getting the object to shrink and be displaced, but he never sees the final result-- the object getting to the other side.
One day as Abel is working in his garage lab on the laser, Abel's younger brother Stan chases the family cat right into the garage and across the laser's control panel. As the laser starts to point at his little brother, Abel runs to push him out of the way. As he does, the laser freezes Abel in place as the computer begins scanning him and breaking him down into digits. Abel wakes in an electronic city with lights flashing wildly all over. And the worst part is that the computer believes him to be a virus and is determined to eradicate him.
Pack Rat is a 3D action and adventure game in which you must navigate the mazes of the computer's infrastructure to guide Abel to safety back in the normal world. Computer drones and bugs will be your nemeses, as you must eliminate them on your way to freedom. Can you outthink Abel's own supercomputer and maybe even get Abel an A on his final project? Can you just get Abel out of his computer alive?
