A closer look at Katharsis

A few hundred years in the future, a ship with one thousand adventure-hungry human colonists leaves the Solar System for the very first time. The ship, Terrae, carries a special orange-blue Earth logo. After 2 years, all communication with the colonists is lost. More than one thousand years pass. New colonists leave our planet but the technology is much more advanced. One day three mysterious ships materialize over Earth's largest city and surprisingly, begin an assault. But more shocking, is the realization that the ships carry the orange-blue Earth logo.

Apart from state-of-the-art technology, Katharsis is designed with gameplay in the forefront. In the space levels you must fight to save your own life, and in the underwater levels you try to protect a special bomb which has been prepared to destroy the Conquerors' base. Katharsis features spectacular hi-resolution SVGA graphics; fluid scrolling and freedom of movement; the ability to fly left or right at anytime; dozens of unique, intelligent enemy ships; massive and frightening megabosses; a deeply involving plot that is woven tightly into the game; and more.
