CodeX Writer is an Internet-ready, Unicode and UTF-8 enabled, FTP-powered text, HTML and code editor for Windows. It has fully customizable syntax highlighting for any language (e.g. HTML, CSS, PHP, Perl, Java, C++, Ruby, Python etc.) through the use of simple syntax files. Flexible project support allows to develop and maintain complex projects, or just organize your files in hierarchical order. Use the workspaces to keep sets of recently open files and the window layouts. View your changes immediately as you type in the CodeX Writer's preview pane without loading any external browser. Currently, HTML, CSS, C++, JavaScript and PHP outlining is supported. Run third party software directly from CodeX Writer (C++ compilers, web tools, etc.) Organize your frequently used start-offs for creating new documents. Any HTML toolbar command can be customized to your coding preferences. For example, you can change the Bold Tag command (...) to have a style class attribute thus inserting .
