This exciting game includes a sinister cast of enemies such as rabid rottweilers that leap to chew your face, Zombies, the evil Enforcer, nasty knights with 2-handed swords, an 8-foot hairy ogre, a jumping beast with flesh-tearing hooks for hands, and more. As you tear through levels in your quest to survive, you must become proficient with your weapons that include a trusty shotgun, double-barrelled shotgun, rocket launcher, grenade launcher, nailgun, thunderbolt, and axe. As you slipgate into different time periods you'll explore futuristic military bases, medieval castles, underwater labyrinths and industrial fantasy environments. Designed with multi-player gaming in mind, QUAKE uses client/server technology to maximize modem and network play, resulting in brutal and exhilarating deathmatches.
