is a flexible math trainer with varying levels of difficulty for one to four players.
You can choose to play based on the number of minutes played (5 to 60 minutes) or the number of questions (15 to 100). ABACUS will provide a random number, and you must find the numbers from the table displayed, along with the operations (+, -, *, and /), which make up the equation. The numbers must be in a straight line without gaps (any direction is allowed).
The points you earn are based on the level of difficulty you select. As well, more points are earned the higher the maximum number is and the lower the minimum number, if multiplication and division and used (rather than just addition or subtraction), if negative numbers are used, and the faster you answer the questions. Points are deducted for wrong answers.
Options let you choose the level of difficulty (from level 2 to 4), set minimum and maximum numbers, enable or disable negative results, and enable or disable +, -, * or /. It includes a built-in progress review feature.
ABACUS is not only suited for students just beginning to learn math, but is also useful for adults whose computation skills have weakened through the years.
