The Internet is filled with all sort of applications and programs that you could use in order to create files. One of them is CopyWriter.It's an alternative to Notepad but keep in mind that it's just a basic text editor and mid-range word processor that comes with some useful features.

Sleek and clean graphical interface

The application takes almost no time to install and it doesn't have a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can actually use it. It sports a clean and intuitive graphical interface with some nice tools at hand.The user interface is almost identical to that of Notepad, in the sense that it's not cluttered and it makes it easy to access features. CopyWriter can be used for editing text, but don't expect any advanced tools or options.

Edit text easily

The program supports multiple plugins, some additional features to help you get the most out of your documents. CopyWriter features two screen modes: Normal and Writers mode. Normal mode is CopyWriters default Notepad-like layout. Writers mode optimize the screen for writing purposes.It comes with some keyboard shortcuts that you could use in order to adjust the edit area width, length and more. It comes with the option to select text and change it to upper or lower case if you want. You can also use basic text formatting tools, don't expect anything too advanced.

Some more features

It comes with the option to change the font style and size, simply pick from one of the available options. You can also find and replace text with special characters, enable auto indent, bullets and dashes.It comes with a spell checker which allows you to find misspelled words inside the text. You can use the application as an IE source viewer instead of Notepad. All in all, CopyWriter is a basic text editor but it might come in handy if you're looking for a replacement for Notepad.
