2D Frame Analysis Static Edition is an advanced CAD application whose purpose is to help you process any 2D frame or truss for checking out its internal forces diagrams, calculating nodal displacements and movements along elements, as well as generating detailed reports.It is suitable for engineers and is able to handle from simple structures (like a beam) up to complex large frames with or without braces, def releases, and complex loads.
User interface

Calculation capabilities
2D Frame Analysis Static Edition offers you the possibility to perform static analysis of multi-span beams, 2D trusses and 2D frames, while offering support for portal frame analysis as well.It lets you work with an unlimited number of nodes and beams, three degrees of freedom per node and six per beam, change the measurement unit, apply boundary conditions (e.g. fixed, rollers), and automatically create nodes.Furthermore, the application gives you the freedom to generate calculation reports which can be printed or exported to PDF, DOC, or XLS file format.Last but not least, you can modify the beam material properties, perform rotational springs, visualize a vertical or horizontal distribution load on beams, insert arcs, generate an analytical view of the results of the analysis, geometry and static model, as well as look in a library for steel section shapes and concrete grades.
