The JIM DANDY fonts are my interpretation of a 19th-century font called "Jim Crow." JIM DANDY is a font package redesigned after the 19th-century font called "Jim Crow." Suggests a broadside, a circus poster, or Western sign. Jeff Levine jogged my memory with a scan of this gem from a "Formatt matte acetate adhesive type sheet catalog." It appears not to have been digitized yet. Thanks, Jeff, for the tip and the encouragement.
