Salaat Time is a practical desktop enhancement for the users that want to know the exact time for the five Islamic daily prayers. The program is a must have for the Muslims that use the computer frequently and want to view the remaining time until the daily prayers.The five daily prayers are extremely important for any Muslim and details such as time or facing direction play an important part in the ritual. This tool is designed to prevent you from missing one of the prayer times by notifying you about the incoming event.The main window of the application displays the current time, the prayer times for the current day and the remaining time till the next prayer. It is also able to provide you with the Qiblah direction based on your current geographic location set in the program preferences.In the other tabs you can view the daily prayer times calculated for the next year and the current date according to the Gregorian or Hijri calendar. The user can export the calendar for a certain month and location as a text file in order to be printed or shared with other users.By default the application runs in the background and displays balloon tips notification before the daily prayers. This preference, as many others, can be changed in order to suit your needs. The program's interface and behavior is highly customizable and can meet the demands of any user.During the prayer the app can play an athan (also known as adhan) from the available collection. It is designed to help you concentrate on the prayer and leave aside all the work related issues. You can use your own athan by specifying a WAV file or the folder that includes the sound files.During our tests, the app required insignificant resources and had no impact on the other running applications. Although it displays a lot of information, the interface is easy to use and to configure.Salaat Time is a useful tool for any user that wants to know the daily prayer times and to follow the ritual.
