In depth
A closer look at Indexer
Indexer is a small of software that provides you with a complete list of Greek citations that are used in the main grammatical reference works in English. The idea behind the application is to provide students who are studying Greek in schools and universities an exhaustive list of useful references. To be more precise, the major works that have been consulted for this application include The Greek Particles, second edition by J.D. Denniston, A Greek Grammar and Syntax of the Moods and Tenses of the Greek Verb by W.W. Goodwin and Greek Grammar by H.W. Smyth. Even though the program includes over 30,000 examples, it is necessary to mention that there are certain works that are missing, such as the fragments of the tragedians and the letters of Isocrates, for instance. The primary reason for the omission resides from the fact that they were either not used as examples in the aforementioned grammatical works or they references were so few that it would not make sense to add them.
