Passwords Guru is a feather-light and portable application that gives you the possibility to create random and secure passwords you can use to protect your accounts, programs, documents, photos and other important files. It enables you to set the key complexity.

Portable tool with a simple interface

It's wrapped in a single .exe file that you can copy to a preferred folder on the disk or to a USB flash drive, in order to directly run the program on any computer with minimum effort and no prior installation. It doesn't have software requirements, create files on the HDD without approval, or integrate new entries into your system registry.When it comes to the interface, Passwords Guru adopts a classical window with a straightforward approach toward the password configuration settings.

Define the password complexity

You can set the key complexity by including or excluding lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, special symbols, or a list of user-defined characters. Moreover, it's possible to specify the password length (number of characters).The new key is instantly generated with the click of a button and can be copied to the Clipboard. Unfortunately, the utility is not capable of creating more than one password at a time.

Evaluation and conclusion

We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that the tool didn't freeze, crash or prompt error messages. It instantly generated passwords while remaining light on system resources consumption, since it needed a low quantity of CPU and RAM to function normally.On the other hand, it doesn't have richer options and customization preferences for advanced users. We must also keep in mind that it hasn't received updates for a long time. Nevertheless, Passwords Guru gets the job done and can be easily used. It's freeware.
