With all design and writing tools, the computer can be used to prepare, or arrange different projects, or at least resources you need to work. Music is included here, and with applications like Songsheet Generator you can print out songsheets, or export under several different format. On the visual side of things, the application mostly takes you through a series of steps, in which you can load existing items, and even edit them. Songs don’t need to be MP3 files, in fact the application doesn’t even work with audio files, but rather text documents, filled in with corresponding lyrics, and key notes. Songs you load are all displayed in a large list, with an additional panel for those you select for the whole operation. What’s more, there’s a preview section which shows content of a selected song. Editing can’t be done here, but you are allowed to configure an external editor, or use the default feature, which lets you edit songs in Notepad.
