It provides an easy way to set up sophisticated inbound/outbound call management that is fully integrated with many popular spreadsheet, database, Internet, e-mail, and outbound fax applications. Active Call Center includes touch tone and speech recognition and text-to-speech generation to interact with callers.
Active Call Center has numerous applications including the following: listen and reply to your Outlook 98 e-mail from a touch tone phone; create a fax-back server for your Microsoft Word 97 documents; record voice messages from the user (answering machine or voice mail); forward messages; perform automated surveying and telemarketing; open a spreadsheet and speak values to the caller; open an Internet document and read data to the user; query a database and report the results of the query to the caller; interact with your company's proprietary software; and more. Active Call Center supports Caller ID and can handle multiple lines. Active Call Center is SAPI 4.0 compliant (this means you can use any text-to-speech or speech recognition engines that are fully SAPI 4.0 compliant and designed for telephony applications).
