File Attribute Explorer is a lightweight software application developed specifically for helping you check out the attributes of files. It can be deployed on all Windows versions out there.

Portable running mode

No installation process is needed in order to gain access to the GUI. A simple double-click on the EXE file helps you access the GUI.  Plus, you may store it on pen drives or other removable devices so you can carry it with you all the time. You  can uninstall it by deleting the file that you have downloaded from the Internet.

File Attribute Explorer offers you the possibility to browse throughout your computer with the aid of an Explorer-like layout. Files can be imported in the working environment using only the Explorer layout (the drag-and-drop support is not implemented).You only need to select the target directory and the tool automatically lists all the files comprised in the current directory. You just need to click on a target file in order to check out information about each item, such as type, size, compression type, MS-DOS path, MS-DOS name, creation, modification, and last accessed date, as well as attributes (read-only, archive, compressed, hidden, system, temporary).In addition, the application is able to reveal information about the file version, description, copyright, name of the company, description, internal name, language, legal copyright, legal trademark, original filename, as well as name and version of the product.
