Window Master is an application that enables you to manage and sort currently opened windows on the desktop. It supports two virtual desktops along with window transparency and shading, among other options.

Setup and systray integration

Installing it is easy, since there are no special options, third-party offers, or software requirements involved. It creates an icon in the systray at startup and silently runs there to facilitate quick access to its options while letting you carry on with your normal PC activity without any interruptions.

Control and customize windows

It's possible to adjust any window's transparency level after examining their titles, handles and IDs, make a window stay on top of other frames, edit a window's title, put together a list with windows that will not be affected by the program, as well as show and hide all opened windows with one click.As we previously mentioned, there are two virtual desktops. The first one keeps the windows in the way they were arranged before launching Window Master, while the second minimizes everything to show the desktop clean. Evaluation and conclusion

The tool hasn't received updates for a long time and this is probably why we've encountered some functionality and display issues on newer OS editions. It had a slow response time to commands and failed to restore windows to their original state after exiting.Nevertheless, Window Master can still be used on older Windows models if you're looking to control and manage opened windows to clear out your desktop easily. It has intuitive options that can be tackled by less experienced users. CPU and RAM consumption was minimal in our tests.
