DTweak Pro is a comprehensive program which comes bundled with multiple tools for cleaning up the system and boosting its performance level. It can be handled by users with any level of experience.The app is wrapped in a professional-looking interface which may appear cluttered at a first glance, but DTweak Pro is actually quite easy to deal with. So, you can run a Registry Cleaner on ActiveX, DLL and COM objects, Add/Remove Program entries, file types and extensions, shared files and assemblies, applications and invalid paths, as well as on font and help files.Furthermore, you can clear up some space on the hard drive via Disk Cleaner (e.g. delete Internet Cookies, root temporary and Internet files, dump and recent files), optimize volumes with the help of a defragmenting function, monitor your hard drives (view the health status, performance, total work time and drive temperature), as well as make some tweaks to system tools (e.g. services, waiting times, administrative restrictions, Windows updates, network).In addition, you can manage apps which automatically run at system startup, access system tools (e.g. Device Manager, Registry Editor, Task Manager, DirectX), customize security settings (e.g. disable User Account Control, allow firewall exceptions), check out system and sensor information, establish a startup and shutdown timeout for crashed programs, as well as disable visual effects, just to name a few.The software tool has a good response time, contains user documentation and runs on a moderate quantity of CPU and system memory. We have not encountered any issues throughout our testing; DTweak Pro did not hang, crash or display error dialogs. On the downside, many of the tool's features can be found by default in Windows; it merely provides shortcuts to them. No recent updates have been made to DTweak Pro.
