In depth
A closer look at The Igneus Cad Utilities
The Igneus Cad Utilities is a free and open source collection of cad commands designed to aid automatic sprinkler system designers. Licensed under the Mozilla Public License, these utilities are free to use by anyone. The Igneus Cad Utilities adds five commands to your CAD program: fpoptions, trimheads, pipeline, exportSHC, and importSHC. All new commands are programmed entirely in the industry standard AutoLisp computer language. This language is natively supported in many modern CAD programs, such as AutoCad and Intellicad. Additionally, anyone with AutoLisp experience may easily modify these commands to suit their own needs. The file igneus.lsp contains all the new CAD utilities provided. Copy this file to a folder on your computer in your CAD program's search path. For example, the CAD programs installation folder will work just fine (usually C:program files yourcadprogram or C:program files yourcadprogramscompany yourcadprogram). Next, start your CAD program. At your CAD program's command prompt, type: (load "igneus.lsp") and press the ENTER key to load the Igneus Cad Utilities.
