SCAN, which is short for Smart Content Aggregation and Navigation, is, as its name suggests, a handy aggregator for universal semantic content.Its uses vary from desktop navigation to efficient document management, as it combines several functions including text analysis, metadata editing, tagging and searching.

Analyze various documents from your computer

SCAN helps you perform advanced analysis for files on your computer by combining various algorithms such as metadata editing, tagging or searching.You need to provide it with a directory from your computer by clicking the dedicated button and loading a folder. Documents contained within the directory will be automatically displayed in the large right pane.

Tag and metadata editing support

You can open files directly from the application by selecting them and using the corresponding option from the Document menu. It is also possible to choose the application that will process your document. The "Find similar documents..." function can be either accessed from the same menu as mentioned above or by pressing the "Shift + F3" key combination on your keyboard.SCAN lets you enable automatic tagging for your content, but you can also edit tags, notes or properties manually. Furthermore, you can edit, update, rescan or auto tag location by navigating to the Collection menu and clicking the appropriate buttons, depending on your needs.

Perform simple and advanced searches

This application enables you to search for various content on your computer in two manners: you can either perform a quick search by typing the keywords in the designated field or define advanced searching parameters.More so, you can replace or delete tags and populate a single tag or all of them, depending on your preferences. Doing so can be accomplished from the Tag menu.
