A closer look at Scrap
A window or icon is left on the desktop with the scrap of text in it. You can have any number of scraps open. Rather than using Notepad, Scrap provides an easy to distinguish icon on your desktop. Scraps left open at the end of a session will reopen when you restart your computer. This program is good for saving clips of text such as email or URL addresses or multiple quotes from a document you are browsing, or to jot down random thoughts.
