zed also includes multiple cursors and split-view editing, letting you control multiple windows at once, each with its own cursor, all supported by the order supplied by each source's different colors. A file tree can also be browsed that you can access by pressing ctrl tx. The way in which you browse local and remote files allows you to move between items stored on any server creating a complete directory in which you can access anything at any time. It also runs in the background so it only takes a second or two to start.
